Crews continue to work to restore remaining homes by Friday

TCEC crews and additional crews from other cooperatives and contractors are working to restore power to the remaining homes before the weekend. Less than 60 residences are without power this morning. We hope to have those restored by the weekend. About 400 total meters remain off.

One of our TCEC linemen came into contact with an energized line last night. The employee has been flown to a specialty hospital and is in stable condition at this time. Please keep the employee and his family in your thoughts and prayers. Additional details, such as the employee's name, are not being released. Thank you for your continued support as our team works to restore power following the recent storm.

TCEC will continue to post regular updates with videos and photos to its Facebook page during the storm repairs. To view them, go to: https://www.facebook.com/tricountyelectric/. Like the page to stay informed. Members without social accounts can also view the Facebook feed by going to the website www.tcec.coop or use the SmartHub mobile app to view both Facebook and Twitter feeds.
