TCEC joins Smart Energy Source partnership

HOOKER, Okla. (April 24, 2014) – Tri-County Electric Cooperative (TCEC) has become a partner in Smart Energy Source, LLC, (SES) an energy services partnership formed by Oklahoma State University, engineering firm Guernsey and Central Rural Electric Cooperative.

SES, based in Stillwater, focuses on improving reliability and lowering costs through improved operating efficiencies for consumers and the utility industry. The partnership will provide TCEC with access to leading experts, research and resources in the energy industry, including a commercial energy auditor to help serve the needs of business owners in the cooperative territory.

“We look forward to our partnership with Smart Energy Source and believe we will work together to find applicable real-world solutions in the energy industry," commented Zac Perkins, assistant general manager for TCEC. "Through research and access to some of the best minds in the business we know this partnership will benefit our members."
