TCEC restores power to more members

Friday was a very productive day. Weather is drying out the roads and aerial damage assessment was completed. About 1,200 meters remain without power this morning.

Mutual aid and contractor crews including TCEC crews continue restoration efforts today. The number of poles down and damaged structures is up to about 2,400.

Intermittent outages will continue as repairs are done on the system to safely restore power to other areas. Mutual aid and contractor crews are impressed with the TCEC members’ kindness and support. TCEC is grateful for the members’ continued support.

TCEC will continue to post regular updates with videos and photos to its Facebook page during the storm repairs. To view them, go to: https://www.facebook.com/tricountyelectric/. Like the page to stay informed. Members without social accounts can also view the Facebook feed by going to the website www.tcec.coop or use the SmartHub mobile app to view both Facebook and Twitter feeds.
