Local Co-ops Contribute to YMCA

GUYMON, Okla. (Jan. 30, 2014) – Panhandle Telephone Cooperative, Inc. and Tri-County Electric Cooperative came together to donate $5,000 to help the Texas County Family YMCA’s annual fundraising campaign.

Beaver County First Responders See ‘Power Of Electricity’ In Person

HOOKER, Okla. (Jan. 29, 2014) – First responders put their lives on the line every time they respond to a call. Taking undue risk when it comes to electricity shouldn’t be part of the job. That’s why Tri-County Electric Cooperative (TCEC) provided a live line demonstration and meal to emergency responders of Beaver County Thursday, January 16 at the fairgrounds in Beaver.

CEO Letter To The Editor: EPA Regulations Could Spell Higher Rates

I am concerned about the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) recent proposals and their potential impact on the rates you pay for electricity.  I hope all TCEC members will stand with me and submit comments to the EPA today during the 60-day comment period.

I am disappointed—but not surprised—the Administration officially abandoned an all-of-the-above energy strategy for a new, all-but-one approach which effectively removes coal from the nation’s fuel mix in the future. We need to balance energy needs with environmental concerns.
