Tri-County Electric Cooperative Annual Meeting Set for Sept. 24

Tri-County Electric Cooperative Annual Meeting Set for Sept. 24

Tri-County Electric Cooperative (TCEC) will hold its 2026 Annual Meeting of the Membership on Thursday, Sept. 24, offering members multiple convenient locations to register and, as a thank you, receive a bill credit and be entered for grand prize drawings.

Members are encouraged to register between 9 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. at one of seven satellite registration locations across the cooperative’s service territory. As a thank-you for participating, each registered membership will receive a $50 credit on their October TCEC electric bill. Registered accounts will also be entered into drawings for several grand prizes, including a zero-turn mower, two smoker grills, four $500 gift cards, and a Shark vacuum. Members do not need to be present during the evening business meeting to win.

The annual business meeting will begin at 6 p.m. Members may attend in person at TCEC Headquarters, located at 995 Mile 46 Road in Hooker, watch the livestream from any satellite location, or view the meeting on their personal devices through TCEC’s website.

To receive the bill credit and qualify for prize drawings, members must register in person on Sept. 24. Cooperative bylaws do not allow proxy voting, which means members cannot register on behalf of another member, or early registration. TCEC encourages members to bring the registration portion of their annual meeting notice to expedite the registration process.

Registration locations include:

Hooker – TCEC Headquarters

Guymon – Texas County Activity Center

Boise City – East Main Events

Beaver – Beaver County Fairgrounds

Elkhart – Morton County Civic Center

Texhoma – Anchor D Boardroom

Turpin – Turpin Senior Citizens Center

TCEC is committed to making the registration process accessible for all members. Individuals who are unable to enter a registration location due to physical limitations will be able to call a phone number posted at the site. A TCEC representative will come outside to assist with the registration process.

Members are also reminded to ensure their contact information is current on their TCEC account. Updated contact information is required so the cooperative can notify members if they win a prize drawing.

For questions about the annual meeting, members may contact TCEC at 580-652-2418 or email info@tcec.coop.
