Members “opted in” allow TCEC to round up their monthly electric bills to the nearest dollar, with the extra funds going towards charitable projects in the community. This program allows co-op members to support worthy causes and collaborate to help others. It has become one of the most rewarding aspects of the cooperative, fostering a spirit of generosity and community support.
ORU embodies the neighbor helping neighbor concept, a foundational value of the electric cooperative.
