TCEC Awards Jim Fletcher Memorial Scholarship to Turpin Student
TCEC is proud to announce Tatum Boyd of Turpin as the 2026 recipient of the Jim Fletcher Memorial Scholarship. The Jim Fletcher Memorial Scholarship was established by the TCEC Board of Trustees in 2025 to honor Fletcher’s 47 years of service to TCEC as legal counsel. Mr. Fletcher's dedication to his private practice and TCEC was unwavering, as he tirelessly advocated for us, ensuring we could continually enhance the quality of life for our members.
His tenure as TCEC’s attorney was more than a profession; it was his calling. His legal insight and tireless advocacy ensured that TCEC operated with transparency, fairness, and adherence to the highest ethical standards.
Recipients are selected from the service area based on academic performance, a demonstrated commitment to continuing their education or technical training, and involvement in their school and community.
TCEC congratulates Tatum Boyd on this achievement and wishes her continued success in her future endeavors.
