Co-op Connections Spotlight – Bank of the Panhandle

A True Community Bank

Bank of the Panhandle is a local community bank located in the center of Guymon on the corner of 12th and Main streets. Bank of the Panhandle has been a part of this community since 1976, celebrating 45 years of business.

“We understand the importance of community banking,” said Paul Montgomery, the executive vice president and chief operating officer at Bank of the Panhandle. “We believe our success comes from our community, so we should give back to our community through products, volunteering and monetary investments.”

You can see Bank of the Panhandle employees around town volunteering for civic groups, local boards, community clean-ups, and much more.
“By being a small community bank, we tend to know and understand the needs of our customers and be prepared for any request that may come to us,” said Montgomery.

Bank of the Panhandle is a locally owned bank that offers a broad range of deposit products for personal and business uses and agricultural, commercial, real estate, and consumer loans.

Bank of the Panhandle offers the following products:

  • Checking and Savings Accounts
  • IRAs and CDs
  • Business, Home and Personal Loans
  • Digital Banking Suite

Bank of the Panhandle has convenient, flexible hours for its customers. The lobby and drive-thru are open Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. The drive-thru is open Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. until noon.
