The Poppy Shop is located in downtown Beaver at 129 Douglas Avenue. Owner Katie King opened The Poppy Shop in February 2021. Katie is originally from Forgan but moved away for college. She came to visit for Cow Chip in 2020 and felt like a lot of things she had growing up weren’t here anymore. She decided to move back and open The Poppy Shop.

“I wanted to invest in a community that invested so much in me for all those years,” Katie said.

Along with its full-service flower shop, The Poppy Shop recently added a coffee bar that has been popular among locals. The Poppy Shop offers a full espresso coffee bar that includes:

  • Italian Sodas
  • Cold Brew
  • Lattes
  • Baked goods
  • Oklahoma made coffee – Elemental Coffee

Tri-County Electric Cooperative (TCEC) members who show their Co-op Connections membership will receive 10% off their purchase of $50 or more (excludes sale items).
