Meet Me at the Market Art Show Results

More than 17 artists entered the first Meet Me at the Market Art Show hosted by Tri-County Electric Cooperative (TCEC) in downtown Guymon on Saturday, Oct. 2.

The weather was perfect for area artists who turned out to display and sell their work. The event was well attended by those already downtown for the Main Street Guymon Farmers Market and the 4B event.

Artists brought a variety of art forms to display, including ceramic figurines, photography, pencil sketches, beadwork, crochet, and needlework.

TCEC appreciates all who came to see, show, and sell art on Saturday. Congratulations to Bryon Test, who won the Best of Show prize for his wildlife pheasant painting. Anthony Ingo won the Reserve prize for his pottery entry, and Rick Williams won Honorable Mention for his wooden tree birdhouse. In the children’s chalk art show, Olivea Lucas won Best of Show.

Three judges reviewed the entries. TCEC extends its thanks to Kathy White of Guymon, Paula Lucas of Guymon, and Sandra Elliott of Texhoma, for their expertise on Saturday.
