Pumpkins At The Park

Free, Family-Friendly Celebration of National Co-op Month

Mark your calendar for the sixth annual Pumpkins at the Park on the east side of Thompson Park in Guymon on Oct. 4 from 5-6:30 p.m. The event is the last in a series celebrating the cooperative difference. Free swim events in Texhoma, Hooker, Boise City and Beaver happened over the summer.

Panhandle Telephone Cooperative, Inc. (PTCI) and Tri-County Electric Cooperative (TCEC) host Pumpkins at the Park to celebrate National Co-op Month. The cooperatives share a purpose in giving back to the community while highlighting the many advantages of being a cooperative member.

Everyone is Welcome

The event is free and open to the public. PTCI and TCEC are local cooperatives. Together, they are taking the Sixth Cooperative Principle of “Cooperation Among Cooperatives” to heart by helping co-ops build a better world and improving the quality of life for members in the Oklahoma Panhandle.

Giving Back

The pumpkins this year are grown locally in Texas County. Nationwide, cooperatives create 2.1 million jobs and generate more than $650 billion in sales and other revenue annually. As cooperatives, TCEC and PTCI are well-suited to meet your needs because they are locally governed. Their leadership teams and employees live right here in the community. We are local businesses supporting our communities and powering economic development and prosperity for the people.
